On Thursday 26th September we held our annual MacMillan Coffee Afternoon Fundraiser and we raised a grand total of £165.58!  Thank you so much to everyone who baked and everyone who came along to our event.

It was lovely to see so many old friends and new faces.

The bakes were out of this world – special mention to Susan Gerrard and her sister for the amazing Lemon Drizzle, Victoria Sponge, Chocolate Cake and Coconut cake, Mrs Lloyd for her legendary grape cake, Andy for the Lemon Curd Cake and all of the other tasty donations and treats – particularly Karen Moore and Rebecca Clements for making the cornflake cakes – they were lovely!

Thank you to Oakfield Day Service for coming along and to Alan from Outreach Sailing – Tom, Andy and Peter were delighted to see him and can’t wait to recommence the sailing course again. Watch this space – dates are being arranged!

Diane Hesketh, Natural Breaks CEO said “MacMillan is such a wonderful organisation and means so much to so many people – I really am proud of how everyone comes together to support the coffee afternoons by baking cakes, buying goodies and coming along and it’s always great to catch up with people – thank you everyone for coming.”
