Liverpool is an iconic City with LOADS of things to see and do and it is great to be a tourist in our own City.

Last week some of us decided to take the Ferry and go Across The Mersey and we had a boss day!  The day was gorgeous and we had already decided that it was definitely a Fish and Chip kind of day  We were looking forward to getting to New Brighton and ordering them.  Everyone met up in the Pier Head where we went and got our boarding passes, then queued to get on.  It was brilliant to be sat out in the fresh air, in the sun, with the wind in our hair and listening to the commentary about the historic sites of Liverpool and Wirral.

We had decided to stay on the ferry a bit longer and get off in Birkenhead and then took the bus to New Brighton.  We got off the bus and walked along the front to the chip shop and ordered our fish and chips – or sausage and chips for some of us!  The day was so lovely we sat outside and enjoyed the lovely weather!

After we finished we decided to go for a game of pool and Karen showed us her skills – she was a real hustler and made some fantastic shots!  Tom was brilliant as well – we think it is all the time spent in Newquay where they have perfected their potting skills over the years!

We then got the bus back home and sat upstairs feeling very tired after all of the sea air!
