James Gardner For 2020 I'm setting myself some challenges - The first of these is climbing Mount Toubkal in Morrocco and I would also like to raise money for Natural Breaks while I'm doing it. I'd like you to sponsor me to raise money for Natural Breaks so that we can help people we support to live up to our motto "we believe living an ordinary life can be extraordinary".
In May 2020 I trave to Marrakech and go to the mountain village of Imlil.  I'll stay here over night and in the morning will be hiking up to the tiny settlement of Sidi Chamharouch, stop for lunch and then continue to Refuge de Toubkal where I am staying over night.
Then leaving at 5am I will be hiking up to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4167m) arriving in time to see the sunrise.
I've got 4 months to get ready physically, but I am sure I will manage this and would appreciate any sponsorship big or small!

I would like to use this platform to represent the people I support and will be keeping daily written diaries of the entire trek aswell as video footage and photography but all in all would like to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the needs of others, specifically vulnerable adults with complex health needs, Autism, epilepsy and learning difficulties. Something which since me joining the company in 2018 has changed my outlook on a lot of personal things.

I also plan to skydive soon too, but that’s another story!

The money raised will go back into whatever Natural Breaks decide is best to use it for, to help anyone we support. And to help raise awareness of what we do and the needs of the people we care for.

P.S - The picture of me in the profile is actually me at The Grand Canyon. I didn’t want to use a picture of Toubkal until I’ve been there and take one at the summit. ;)
