What is Social and Learning? What is Community Outreach support? Our Community Outreach support, also known as Social and Learning, is all about supporting people to live independently, stay connected and do more of the things they love. We support people with disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injuries to build confidence and relationships, develop life skills and get involved in their local community. Whether it’s support with shopping, getting to appointments, joining social activities, going to voluntary roles or accessing the local community, we're here to offer the right support. Our support is flexible, person-centred and designed to fit around each person’s goals, routines and needs—because we believe that everyone deserves to live a full, independent life. Who might need Community Outreach support? People with disabilities, autism or an acquired brain injury can access Community Outreach support for a number of hours a week. It's ideal for people living at home with families, or in residential settings, who may need support with day-to-day tasks, getting out and about, or becoming more involved in their community. Whether someone needs a little support or a lot, we work flexibly to provide the right level of care to every person. How will I know if Community Outreach is the right decision?
