Last week, some people from Natural Breaks had a day that was truly out of the ordinary!  Karen, Kath and Tom met in the Head of Steam for some lunch.  It was nice to catch up and talk over lunch.  We went to St George’s Hall to meet some more of our friends and then got seated to watch “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.  The performance was put on by ‘In Another Place’ and what a spectacle it was.

Kath loved it when David beat Goliath, Paula spotted lots of people she knew as she has been in productions with ‘In Another Place’ in the past.  Tom spotted an old friend from college and Karen loved the music. Rebecca loved the animals, particularly the elephant and the giraffe and being able to chat with all of the performers afterwards.

Irene who is one of our support workers said “It was a really good production.  I found it really enjoyable and so did the lady I was supporting.  It was brilliant to see people of all abilities performing too, it might inspire some of the people we support to get involved in the future.”

There was a whole host of things to see, Noah’s Ark, all of the actors, the walls of Jericho coming down and much, much more.   It is really worth going along when this production is next on, well done everyone at ‘In Another Place’ for such a great show.
