Easter Day 2024

This year, Natural Breaks decided to make this Easter extra special by hosting a get-together for people we support, families and staff.

 

Our office was transformed into an Easter wonderland with grass topped tables, daisies popped about and pastel banners hanging on the wall.

Of course, we had Easter themed treats for everyone to enjoy. From hot cross buns to Easter yule log to crème eggs, there was something for everyone.

But chocolate wasn’t all we had. Our Easter party had a number of fun crafts to enjoy. Tables were set up with supplies to make your own bunny and chick out of flannels, Rice Krispie cakes and Mini Egg doughnut bird nests.

 

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, a surprise guest joined us at the party and made a grand entrance. The Easter bunny hopped into the room, ready to give out chocolate eggs to all. People lined up to take photos with our visitor, excitement buzzing through the air.

 

As the party started coming to an end, people spoke about the fun they’d had. Our Easter celebration had been a success, brightening everyone’s day and enabling us to create memories with one another.

Alison, a support worker who attended the party, said “It has been brilliant. We’ve all had such a lovely time together. I’ve loved seeing everyone have the chance to come together today. I hope we do it again next Easter”. 

 

Paul, who draws on our support and came along on the afternoon, said: “It was fun. I loved playing the bowling game and seeing how many eggs I could throw in the bucket”.
