Last year Natural Breaks was invited to the launch of the Sir Bert Massie, the brand new wheelchair accessible speedboat at the Liverpool Watersports Centre.  We had a great day out on the Wheelyboat last year and people were really keen to return, so we contacted the Liverpool Water sports Centre and arranged for a FAB day out for all!

The sun was shining and it was a PERFECT day to be out on the water enjoying the gorgeous Albert Dock, speeding along the Queen’s Dock and meandering around Liverpool Marina looking at all of the amazing boats they have moored there.

Jody was on the first boat and he said “I was a bit nervous at first as I didn’t know what to expect, but it was great, the guy who was driving the boat said we were going nearly 40 mph, I’d definitely do this again”.

Charles was our Captain for the day and had loads of really interesting facts and stories about the docks and the marina and we had a great time.

Anthony, Jacqui, Hilary, Ted and Ian had all been on the boat last time and were really excited to be doing it again, especially in the sun and not the rain!

Hilary said “It’s just brilliant, I love it so much, it took my breath away”.

The final boat of the afternoon was the lads with Andy, Ethan, Chris, Jay, Jack, James and Si. Andy and Chris absolutely loved the boat and had been on it before, but, it was Ethan’s first time and it proved to be a real hit!  It is a fantastic to see our City in a way we wouldn’t usually get a chance to see it and the rush of speeding along the docks is awesome.

Thank you to everyone at the Liverpool Water sports Centre we will be back again!
