We’ve had our 2^nd Make It Monday and thank you to everyone who came along!  Louise Carr facilitated the day and came up with the idea of people painting rocks.  Stone painting has become quite a craze and everyone at Natural Breaks are delighted to have a go and we made some gorgeous designs! 

Natural Breaks has a massive pool of talent – both among people we support and staff.  This month Louise stepped up to the plate!  Louise is one of our Team Co-ordinators from our Supported Living Department is known for being very artistic.  One of the projects she has been working on recently is painting stones, she then leaves these in various locations and people find them, take photos of them and post them to different facebook and Instagram groups.  

Diane Hesketh CEO said “A big thank you to Louise for leading the day and for getting everything ready – a lot of hard work and preparation goes on in the background to organise things like this and it is really appreciated.  I have to say that coming in to see everyone is the best part of my day and I love catching up with people, staff and I was pleased to see family members come along too – I’ll be putting the next one in my diary!” 

Kate who is supported by Natural Breaks came along for the first time and said “I had fun painting the pebbles and it was different and I like being with the people at Natural Breaks.”
