“It was the best trip I’ve ever been on”

To celebrate turning 60, back in May this year, Dave’s one and only request was to head abroad on holiday.

Alongside his support team, Dave travelled to Portugal for seven days. He wanted the plane ride to be relatively short and so, the choice of Portugal was the ideal fit for Dave.

 

During his holiday, Dave embarked on new experiences with the help of excursions, spotting dolphins on a boat ride and visiting the local cove, and balanced that with time spent sunbathing around the pool.

It was fantastic. We went dolphin spotting, they came right up next to our boat and Dave was ecstatic. One of Dave’s highlights of the trip was finding a pack of ciggies and a lighter that had been left on a rock, at the beach. He told us both that it was the best holiday he had ever been on
